Mark Ingle

Chairman and Independent Director

Mark is the chairman of Pinnacle Ventures, stepping into the role in November 2020. Alongside his role as chair for Ventures he is an independent director on the Midlands Health Network board.

Mark is also the chairman of six private companies including technology businesses Virscient Limited, Smooth Sensors Limited and Fleetcoach Limited, sits on two Enterprise Angels investor network boards, and is a trustee of Te Awa Great River Rides. He is also involved in a number of small private trusts.

Born in Hamilton, Mark graduated from The University of Waikato in 1990 with a business management degree, majoring in accounting. His experience includes work with a global emerging markets investment company based on Fleet St in London, and 20+ years managing small to medium size businesses in New Zealand. Mark spent 10 years as chairman of the WEL Energy Trust, a billion dollar electricity lines trust, finishing in June 2020.
