Willow Salvador

Willow is of Italian/Māori descent and was born and raised in Tūrangi. After some years away overseas she returned to Tūrangi and started working for Tūwharetoa Health Charitable Trust, working in various positions both at operational and managerial levels.

The Tūwharetoa vision is to improve the health of all those who reside in the rohe of Ngāti Tūwharetoa and guided by the values of whanaungatanga and manaakitanga.

Willow comes from a management, accounting and business background and in 2017 took up the position as Chief Executive for the Trust.

She has been involved with various community groups within Tūrangi/Taupō and has established networks at local and regional levels.

Willow currently lives in Tūrangi with her partner Johno (Ngāti Waewae, Ngāti Karauia) and their young son Giovanni.
