Registrations of interest are now open for community representatives on the Midlands Regional Health Network Charitable Trust Board.
The Midlands Regional Health Network Charitable Trust was established to focus on a regional approach to delivering health care services. The trust works closely with the Lakes, Tairāwhiti, Taranaki and Waikato district health boards to make sure health services are better aligned across the primary, community and secondary sectors. The trust is responsible for improving primary health care for more than half a million people in the midlands region.
The Midlands Regional Health Network Charitable Trust Board is made up of nine members: four clinical representatives, two Māori partner representatives, two community representatives and an independent professional chair. As per the trust deed requirements, the trust board is inviting interest from the public to fill two community representative positions.
